You’ll be working on-site, fully immersed in the operations and technical environments that power live events and entertainment. This role requires applicants to be eligible and authorised to work in the country. Significant benefits include 20+ days of holiday, private medical insurance, an employee cash healthcare plan, income protection, life assurance, and wellbeing support.

Day-to-Day Role: Responsibilities & Tasks

As a Warehouse Assistant in the cable department, you’ll test, clean and prepare cables, mains distribution units, and related equipment for each hire need. You will ensure all equipment is kept in good working order, logged, and ready for quick turnaround. Tasks involve PAT and equipment testing, making simple repairs, assisting with the preparation and stripping of looms for large projects, and managing stock control. Essential day-to-day duties also involve using basic IT systems to update the rental database and supporting team members and clients as required.

What Makes This Role Attractive?

This job comes with a stable salary and a clear benefits package. Regular staff socials, professional growth opportunities, and real recognition for long-term service help make this position rewarding both professionally and personally.

Potential Downsides

While the job offers strong pay and benefits, it is a temporary role to start, and success depends on your ability to handle physical tasks and consistent deadlines. The period leading up to big events can be intense, and accuracy is critical, with limited margin for error on equipment checks and logistics coordination.

Verdict: Should You Apply?

For those who want to be part of the live event and entertainment world, this job offers excellent entry and the ability to work with high-quality kit. If you have the required skills and plenty of motivation, this opportunity comes highly recommended for those seeking meaningful team-based technical work with clear rewards.
